Biography
Vénus Aimé Visconti was born in Grenoble and currently lives in Paris. As a queer artistic photographer, they are deeply engaged in the queer movement and explore artistic themes that transcend traditional boundaries of art. Their work draws inspiration from personal experiences and societal dynamics to create deeply impactful and provocative pieces.
Graduate of the International School of Photography Speos, they also spent a year and a half studying Fine Arts at Pantheon Sorbonne, which helped them structure their artistic projects more seriously and conduct extensive research to build their endeavors effectively. At the same time, they worked in a sex shop in Paris, where their interest in BDSM, sexuality, and their philosophies grew stronger, influencing their artistic work.
As an active member of the queer community, they incorporate queer themes into their art, celebrating the diversity of identities and experiences. Their art becomes a form of resistance, aiming to create an inclusive and affirming space for all gender identities and sexual orientations.
For Vénus, life itself is an artistic performance. They believe that each moment is an opportunity for creative expression and exploration. Their works reflect this philosophy, using color, light, and form to capture the complex nuances of the human experience.
